Your files aren't on our servers. They're on a storage network that was paid, once, to keep them for the next two centuries.
We can't take the link back or point it somewhere else. Not "we promise not to" — we gave up the ability, permanently, and you can check.
You get two addresses. yourname.persist is the one to share. The second is a permanent id for the files themselves — any gateway serves it, including ones we have nothing to do with.
If we go out of business, the second one still works.

GoDaddy .com renewal $21.99/yr, September 2026, assuming you host free. One year of a domain costs more than this does ever. And free hosting tiers get discontinued too — Heroku ended theirs in 2022.
